Moonstone

Properties of Moonstone:

- Peacefulness
- Healing

Chakra:
Moonstone is said to work on the sacral chakra.

Zodiac:
Said to be a good stone for Cancer. Bluish moonstone is said to be particularly good for Pisces.

Origin:
Moonstone is found in Sri-Lanka, Brazil, Madagascar, and USA.

Colors:
Color of Moonstone range between off-white, yellowish, pinkish, bluish, and blue.

Gem Lore:
Moonstone is associated with the moon, as such it is said to be the stone of love and lovers.
Though out the years moonstone has been given to women as a fertility blessing.
Rhodonite
Properties of Rhodonite:
- Calming
- Dispel doubt & confusion
- Peacefulness
- Protection
- Self-realization

Chakra:
Rhodonite is said to work on
the heart and sacral chakras.

Zodiac:
Said to be a good stone for Taurus.

Origin:
Rhodonite is found in South Africa, Australia, China, USA, and Mexico.

Colors:
Color of Rhodonite is pink with dark or black inclusions.

Gem Lore:
Name comes from the Greek word, rhodon, which means Rose.
Rhodonite has history as a protective stone, warning it’s wearer of danger by suddenly increasing the wearer’s
heart rate. For this reason it is often valued by travelers.
Sunstone

Properties of Sunstone:

- Healing
- Humor
- Cheerfulness
- Good temper
- Stamina and energy
- Self-confidence
- Self-esteem
- Self-realization
- Lifts depression

Chakra:
Sunstone is said to work on the sacral chakra.

Zodiac:
Said to be a good stone for any sign.

Origin:
Sunstone is found in USA, Canada, Madagascar, India, and Norway.

Colors:
Color of Sunstone is reddish-brown.

Gem Lore:
The Greeks held Sunstone in high regards. They believed that Sunstone held the sun on its right course and
therefore kept the earth safe. So valued was Sunstone that it was dedicated to the Greek God, Helios.
Tiger Eye

Tiger Eye is said to work on the naval chakra and solar plexus chakra.

Said to be a good stone for Virgo.

Origin:
Tiger Eye is found in South Africa, Western Australia, India, and USA.

Colors:
Color of Tiger Eye is golden brown with stripes.

Named for its resemblance to a cat’s eye.

Turquoise is found in Arizona, Mexico, Tibet, Myanmar, China, Israel, and Poland.

Colors:
Color of Turquoise ranges from light blue to turquoise blue.

Gem Lore:
Turquoise has been found in both Egyptian and Greek tombs, it is believed that it was valued as a protective stone.
Women would wear this stone in the Middle Ages because it was said to make its wearer beautiful, virtuous, and
loyal.
