| Amber Properties of Amber: - Luck - Strength - Protection - Love - Well-being - Self-healing - Success Chakra: Amber is said to work on the naval chakra. Zodiac: Said to be a good stone for Geminis, Leos, and Virgos. Origin: Amber is found on the Baltic coast and in Lithuania, Poland, Germany, and the Dominican Republic. Colors: Colors of Amber vary between light yellow and reddish-brown. It can also come in white, blue, & a greenish color. Gem Lore: Amber’s Persian name is kahraba (meaning “the attractor of straw) because when amber is rubbed it develops an attractive force on wooden shavings and straw. Amber is not actually a stone. It is a fossil resin of the amber pine, petrified over a period of fifty million years. Because Amber is fossilized tree sap, it can have inclusions. A few examples of some of the more common inclusions include beetles, flies, spiders, gnats, and droplets of water. These unlucky little insects found themselves stuck in the amber resin where they were consequently entombed and fossilized within the resin. |

Zodiac: Said to be a good stone for all signs. Origin: Adventurine is found in India, Australia, and Canada. Colors: Colors of Adventurine can range from orange-brown to orange-yellow. Gem Lore: When this stone first arrived in Europe, only the richest individuals could afford it. Adventurine is sometimes mistaken for Sunstone. However, unlike true Sunstone, Adventurine is a member of the quartz family. |

Colors: Color of Agate range from gray-blue to beige, reddish to brown, often with layered stripes. Gem Lore: The ancient Egyptian scarabs were often made of Agate. |

Zodiac: Said to be a good stone for Pisces. Origin: Amethyst is found in Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, Western Australia, and Morocco. Colors: The Color of Amethyst is a range of different shades of violet. Gem Lore: To aid in meditation Buddhist monks often use amethyst. Amethyst are sometimes referred to as the “stones of Bacchus.” The story goes that when Bacchus fell in love with a nymph, the goddess Diana changes the nymph into an amethyst. |
